Rare Medallion High Relief depicting St. George on Horseback in the act of slaying the Dragon, Nembro marble fully processed and hand carved with absolute care and precision. Very particular for the shape, the generous size and the beautiful frame that completes the work!
Part of a pair, it was flanked by another work depicting St. Michael. Provenance Venice, private collection, 19th century.
