Perry King & Santiago Miranda, Pendant model Aurora 1040 for Arteluce. Italy, C.1980
Composed of a clear methacrylate sheet with a transparent blue outer ring, enclosed between two textured tempered glass panels, the Aurora 1040 was designed in the early 80’s. The fixture accommodates three halogen bulbs in G4 bipin sockets. The ceiling mount is concealed by a dome-shaped canopy housing the transformer, from which suspension wires descend to support the chandelier. The total drop is adjustable up to a maximum of approximately 110 cm.
Small traces of use, on the edges of the disks and on the canopy, very good overall condition. Stamped by the maker.
