O-look Pendant By Superstudio for Poltronova, 1968

Very rare Olook or Molok Lamp by Superstudio for Poltronova and distributed by Design Centre, 1968. The lamp features two adjustable hoods that can be moved up and down creating an eclipse like effect. The design also reminds of an astronaut helmet. Its acrylic diffuser has a grid texture and hides one light bulb. It bears a design centre label on the side and the best part of this particular lamp is that it comes with its original box and is best described as new old stock. It has taken out of its box for the "Radicaal Design Italië -1966-1988" in Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, 2017. 'Aurora' Light Sculpture by Otello Ciullini

Brass and metal 'Aurora' light sculpture from the series 'Hit Proposals' ; produced between 1974-1975. This series was conceived and produced by Studio EF, Viareggio, Italy. The brushed metal disc mounted on a lacquered wooden panel is covered in brass metal rods which are arranged in an outward circular pattern, creating an impressive 3d effect physically and visually of scattered light emitted from the centre to the surrounding walls. it is signed on the right corner and labelled on the back with the authentication of the gallery and studio of the artist. This work is quite rare and has a wonderful quality both when the light is turned on as well as off.
