In the immediate post-war period, the European trade was obstructed by new and strict regulations. Export was limited to well determined quotas, whereas international travelling and financial transactions were subject of governmental permissions. Seguso Vetri D'Arte therefor concentrated on the national market and opened a personal outlet in Milan. Illustrated are inner views of the firm's showroom at Piazza Diaz 5, Milano, Italy c.1947. Isidoro Seguso was responsible for this shop, which also retailed mirrors engraved by Studio Ars et Labor Industrie Riunite (S.A.L.I.R.) and Guglielmo Barbini. In 1952, the firm relocated to a new location at the corso Vittorio Emanuele. This latter outlet was closed in 1955.
